Saturn Ingress Aries

Restructuring Through Fire

On Saturday, not coincidentally, Saturn, the planet after which the day is named, will enter the fiery, martial sign of Aries, where it will remain until 2028. The Lord of Time will be in close company with the Lunar North Node, also newly arrived in its transit through Pisces, Neptune, the ruler of the LNN, and asteroid Ceres, all tightly compacted in the first three degrees of Aries. The presence of Venus, Chiron, and Eris further intensifies this powerful stellium, spread across the final degrees of Aries. Mars, the ruler of this Martian “landscape,” burns with cosmic, self-actuating fire in Leo. The locomotive momentum of this chart is powerfully driven by Pluto retrograde, momentarily retreating toward the cardinal point of Aquarius.

The fate of the future seems to hang in the balance, torn between finding the solace and compassion to assuage the shifting, burning sands beneath our feet. The wounds of current reality invoke the need to embody new priorities in the face of what seems unimaginable. We can feel gripped by a lack of fidelity and truthfulness in the world around us, which feels like freefall into an abyss that is difficult to comprehend. Things are not just “bigger than life”; they have taken on a surreal quality. We are being magnetized to extreme polarities that feel like an extrusion process.

As Saturn churns its way through Aries, fate will guide the extrusion, restructuring our familiar, perhaps once too comfortable, world into a direction that we would not, or could not, pursue without coercion.
